And the day I’ve anticipated all year long has finally arrived…The Woodward Dream Cruise. I turn into a kid in a candy store. It’s become a tradition of mine for the past 3 years (this one included), since I’ve had my Mustang. I woke up at 9am this morning, turned my fans off just so I could hear those engines real good riding down Woodward. What better place to live then 50 feet away from all the action!
Call me lame…it’s ok. I’ll take that. But this is who I am. I found a hobby that I love. But hobbies are expensive. In trying to get lil Ms. Candy (my Mustang) ready for this year’s cruise, I would spend close to $400, including brakes, a nice car wax, and interior cleaning. Plus, if I wanted to go further by getting my pealing tint redone & unjamming my 6-disc cd changer, that would have put me close to $6-700. Spending $75 dollars on my hair would have broken my heart. But $600 on my Mustang would have been ok for me. I love cars. People don’t mind spending time and money on things/people they love right?
On a sad note, this may very well be the last year I will have my candy apple red Mustang, and the last I’ll be able to cruise her at this event. So it was a pretty special occasion for me this time around. :( Who knows when the next time will be that I can own another Mustang…hopefully sooner than later. But for a while I will have to be a normal driving citizen like everybody else. Humbling it is, but such is life. It’s been a blast! But when I come back, I’m coming back with a vengeance. I’ll want to have a new one & an old skool one. Then the hardest decision to ever be made in life will be whether to drive the new one or the old one to the cruise??? Or both!!! ;)

You're such a neat gal, Faithe!!! I just love you!!!!
As far as I'm concerned, you are too clean (sharp with the swagger) all the way around. Keep doing your thing - that which makes you happy. You're shining like that car in the background of the pic.
Aww shucks, Don, thanks! I'm blushing.
I may be going normal and giving up the Lexo next year -so I feel ya. It's
been a blast, but fare thee well... :). Or :(
See ya,
Charity
