Yup, it's that time again! I was welcomed into my new year with an aching pain in my back. I said to myself, "Oh Lord, this can't be my welcome wagon." 'Cause I refuse to get on! LOL
When I think back on how at the age of 7 I almost died and how the Lord has kept me...I am so grateful to be alive and to have grown into a person that inspires other people. It's such a blessing to hear people that I least expect tell me how in some way I have encouraged them. It helps me to keep going. Thank you all for sharing in my journey.

Wow!!! You've been blessed your whole life! Sorry for this coming late but I hoped your Birthday went well!!!
You know... On Sunday I took my mom to see Avatar. She loved it. Upon watching it for the second time of course I picked up/learned/noticed things that I overlooked the first time. I have, now, a WHOLE new appreciation for the movie and at the risk of sounding like a Dork extremest there IS one form of the lifestyles of the "Navi" [that's what the Avatar people called themselves] that I would like to adopt into my own life...
I forgot the name of the lady Avatar but she was explaining the ways of their tribe/civilization. She said "in order to be Navi you have to be born twice."<~~~ paraphrasing. I believe they celebrate their second birth. I want to do that.
I think when I have kids I'm going to keep a record of the exact date that they got saved and we are going to celebrate THAT date!!!
Not a Bible scholar, but didn't Jesus say something like don't celebrate my birth but my death? Don't quote me on that, I have to look it up.
Anyways... Yep!!! I think I definitely want to implement that. Still recognizing the actual Birthdays but REALLY jamming on the 2nd Birthday.
These are my ideas and they are subject to change :)
