Why'd you have to go MJ? Every time I pass by a magazine stand and I see MJ on the cover a sadness comes over me. Over a month after his death people are still experiencing the sting of his death. I really think that this should serve as a wake-up call to all celebrities. The lessen to be learned here is that no one can cheat death. Not even the rich and famous. And it behooves us all, great and small, rich and poor, to make the most of our lives. I don't know about you, but before it's all said and done I plan to come as close to perfection as I possibly can. And when I leave I want that to be my testament. She always strove for perfection, in every aspect of her life. MJ reached perfection in his music, but "it seems" never perfected his personal struggles. I'm sure if he knew he'd only have 50 years on this earth he'd have done a lot of things differently. Wouldn't we all? Hence, let us never forget that today we are one day closer to our departure. How will I live today? But WHATEVER you do, do it to the glory of God.
In closing...everyone magnetizes the legacy of MJ's music (which we all know and agree was ground-breaking), but what I hope is that people will grab his philanthrophic and giving heart. One man can't "heal the world," but more giving hands like MJ's would go a loooong way.
