It's only the 9th day of the New Year and already I have been learning some great life stories that will help shape and mature me in many ways as my life progresses. One of the most impactful; however, that I've learned this new year is the simple life story that says this: Whenever the Lord tells you to do something, make sure you do it. It will save you a WORLD of trouble. But the key is, you have to do it regardless to what people may say or think about your decision. Because when you go home at night by yourself, they won't be there to answer to God for you about why you didn't do what He said. It's just you and Him. And that burden sits on you until He lifts you, and you forgive yourself.
Matthew 19:27-29
"Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye which have followed me (done what I told you to do), in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life."
