I talked to my big brother today. Today, mom & dad went to Chicago to participate in his graduation ceremony from boot camp for the Navy. He was an honorary graduate...one of the best in his division. Tim always succeeds at what he does. I admire that about him. He sounds different. His voice is more distinguised and deep. I don't know what that has to do with being in the Navy, but it's definitely noticeable. My mom was so emotional. She said she cried during the ceremony. She said that it was awesome to see the sailors marching and to see Tim leading the cadences. You know how in the movies there's one guy leading off the drill or cadence while the others follow. That's what my brother was doing. Next stop for him is Mississippi and then somewhere overseas. I never thought my brother would do anything like this. But I'm proud of him...that's a very courageous thing of him to do.
