Just a little note to my brothers & sisters

Sometimes, you may feel like you are so far behind in your growth, and like "little obedience" doesn't add up to all the times in the recent past that you have messed up. You may feel like you've gotten so far behind in God that even when you do the right thing, it's not enough to get you where you should be. What I would tell you first is that no obedience is "little." But most important, take faith with your obedience. Obedience is the water for the seed God has planted in you, but without faith, we can't even please God. In your simple obedience, you have to also have faith that as I continue in my obedience to God, it's going to take me to the next step and that step will take me to the next, and eventually, I will be in a place of continual growth. And if you mess up, don't quit, just begin again. At some point, when the enemy sees that you're not giving up, that ground is going to break. You'll never hit pave dirt if you stop digging. One of the things that God has said to us through the teachings at Shalom is that if we take that first step, He would back us up. Don't give up yall! I know it may seem as if these are baby steps in comparison to where God is calling us to and all we've been taught, but we can do it. We are going to be those sons and daughters that He called us to be. Let's get rid of all of our "buts" and do what he told us to do...one day at a time. And let's encourage each other to keep striving. It's an extra push when we know we're not doing this alone. Each of us have our own course in God, with specific rules for our consecration, but we're all in this together. Be encouraged young people. I love yall!

L8r,
Ms. Pinky
